The Fledge Trust

Reading for pleasure contributes to our social, cultural, and economic health. It’s also a key ingredient in the development of empathy and well-being.

The Fledge Trust was established to build a life-long love of reading in young New Zealanders. Inspired by Kate De Goldi and Susan Paris of the children’s publisher Annual Ink, they seek out, mentor and publish new writers for young readers, especially middle readers (8 - 13 years).
