International Women’s Day 2024

Men want to understand menopause too, and not only on International Women’s Day.

I wrote this opinion article because every day I talk to men from all walks of life who want to learn about menopause and say/do the right thing
by the women in their lives even if they don’t always know how. Understandably. Many women, non-binary and trans men going through menopause don’t have the information they need about this normal and powerful stage of life either.

When I’m hosted by organisations to open up the conversation about menopause in their workplace, men often ask, ‘How can we help?’ so I’ve included my top tips based on my own experience and what other women and men have told me too.
